Can I file for naturalization before conditions on my residence are removed?

I am married to a U.S. citizen and I am waiting for USCIS to decide my petition to remove conditions on my lawful permanent resident status. I have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years. Can I file for naturalization before the conditions on my residence are removed?

While time as a conditional lawful permanent resident counts towards the time to be eligible to naturalize, and a conditional permanent resident can be eligible to file for naturalization after 3 years, USCIS will decide the petition to remove conditions before it will decide an application for naturalization.
